Celebrating Badge Earners

The ultimate goal of job training is to perform your work better, and a lot of Institute members fill in the learning gaps with Institute courses and resources.

Achieving a Certificate of Competency and a Digital Badge is an extra step demonstrating a comprehensive approach to continuing education, and although 2020 was tumultuous, I want to celebrate the members below who persisted and earned their badges.

Please join me in applauding our intrepid badge earners!

Jason Ross
Aspiring Prospect Researcher, Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada

“I pursued the Institute badges because I discovered that reading a book on prospect research is a good start, but not enough to launch a new career in prospect research. The Prospect Research Institute courses provided me with in-depth knowledge of prospect research and hands-on experience through its capstone projects. These projects were not just academic exercises, as our instructor Jen Filla often required us to work on projects within our own organizations or reach out to other non-profits and prospect research professionals to tackle real world problems. I look forward to taking more courses to increase my knowledge and experience so that when I land a new prospect research position, I will be ready to hit the ground running.”
