In this episode, Ruthie shares how she applied her project management and business education skills from her for-profit career to her early positions in research and prospect management. Now she uses all of her experience to help the University of New Hampshire, where she works during the day, as well as a variety of organizations she supports through consulting at Staupell Analytics.

According to Ruthie, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to prospect management. When she helps organizations build and improve their prospect management systems, she starts from where they are – and the database they have — and steps them through to where they want to be.

The Capacity Rating Workshop was really useful. I was new to the prospect research field when I took the workshop, so it helped to demystify capacity ratings for me.
