How soon can I access online educational content once I place my order?

As soon as you purchase, your username and password will be emailed to you for immediate access to “My Dashboard” where you will find the content you purchased. Workshops include a live meeting component. If the live meeting is in the past, the video replay will be included in the online content.

How long does it take to complete a course?

We typically design courses for about 5 to 10 hours per module and courses typically have 6 modules. You may need more or less time depending on the complexity of the content and the experiences and skills you bring to the course. Some students zip through a course in a month, others take many months.

What is the “flipped classroom” model?

In the flipped classroom model, you consume educational content (usually videos and text) and try the homework before you meet live with an instructor. And, live class meetings with your instructor are not “talking at you” lectures, but rather a group discussion to solve problems you encountered in the homework or things you are struggling to understand.

How long will I have access to the educational content?

If you purchase a Research Asset Membership, you have access for as long as you are a member. If you purchase a course or workshop a la carte or as part of the Career Agent Track, you will have access online for 12 months from the date of purchase. For membership and courses, you also have access to live Group Coaching Calls held monthly during your access period.

Will I be able to ask my instructor questions?

Absolutely! Membership and courses come with a monthly, live Group Coaching Call with your instructor, and workshops are first offered with a live meeting focused on discussion. You also have access to the Institute’s free, public Learning Community Forums where you can direct message your instructor and connect with your peers.

I frequently have to research individuals who have publicly reported stock holdings. Even as an experienced prospect researcher (who previously worked in a publicly traded company), I find combing through corporate Proxy statements and untangling insider compensation packages to be daunting. I took Prospect Research Institute’s ‘Insider Stock and Compensation’ course and was wowed by the instructors’ abilities to explain complex financial forms and compensation arrangements in a way that was easy to understand.
